Detailed Travel Itinerary


Day 1 : Departure from New Delhi 16:30 hours Every Sunday
Royal Rajasthan on wheels, a luxury train with all princely comforts departs from Safdurjung station New Delhi on every Sunday. Please reconfirm with your dates of travel as the train operates for tourist season only (September to April). In duration of 7 Nights 8 Days you will travel to all major tourist destinations of North India. Overnight on Board train.

Day 2 : Jodhpur Arrive at 09:15 hours
First destination of your Royal Rajasthan tour is Jodhpur, second largest city of Rajasthan with rich historical background. You will be escorted to visit monuments of Jodhpur which includes Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada and Ummed Bhawan Palace. Take lunch at five star hotel. Dinner on board train and departure to Jaisalmer, a fairy tale city in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. Overnight in Train.

Day 3 : Udaipur, Chittorgarh Arrival at 08:00 hours.
Wakeup at Udaipur the city of lakes also popular as the venice of the east. After breakfast on board train you will be escorted to visit the monuments of Udaipur. See the city palace complex situated on the bank of Pichola lake. Also visit Jagdish temple and Sahelion ki Bari. After lunch proceed for Chittorgarh which precedes the history of Mewar before foundation of Udaipur. Arrive Chittaurgarh at 16:45 Hours. Visit Magnificent fort of Chittor which unmatched example of strength and valour. Dinner on board train. Overnight in Train.

Day 4 : Sawaimadhopur, Jaipur
Arrive Ranthambore in the morning. After breakfast proceed for wildlife safari at Ranthambore National Tiger reserve. After jungle safari begin your journey for Jaipur. Lunch on board train. Arrive Jaipur at 13:15 hours. Visit Amber fort and City Palace of Jaipur. Take a tour of traditional markets of Jaipur. Unique feature of the markets of the Jaipur is uniform symmetry and pink colour. Dinner on board train.

Day 5 : Khajuraho 11:00 hours.
Breakfast on board train. Visit temples of Khajuraho built about 1000 years ago and are much popular for their erotic sculptures beautifully carved out on the exteriors of the temples. Dinner on board train.

Day 6 : Varanasi Arrive at 06:00 hours.
Take early morning boat ride at holy river Ganges. Varanasi is the most important center of Hindu religion and is also the oldest living city of the world. Here you can have glimpse of mysticism associated with some extreme sects of Hinduism. Visit Ghaats of Varanasi. After lunch at 5 star hotel visit Buddhist Pilgrimage at Sarnath. Overnight in train.

Day 7 : Agra Arrival at 05:00 hours
After breakfast proceed to see most beautiful monument of the world, the Taj Mahal. This pearl white marble tomb contains twin graves of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. There is unmatched pietra dura work done on the interior walls of the Taj Mahal. Also visit Agra fort and tomb of Itimad ud Daula. Take a tour around the local streets of Agra which still presents the Ambience of the Mughal Era. Overnight on board train.

Day 8 : New Delhi Arrival at 04:00 Hours
Check out at 07:45 Hours. You journey to the historical destinations of North India with Royal Rajasthan on wheels Ends.

@ 2.58% Service Tax shall be levied on the tariff of Royal Rajasthan on Wheels.
15 USD per pax per trip shall be charged against the payment of commercial tax in addition to the tariff mention above.
There shall be half fare for the children of 5 years and more but less then 12 years.
Children below 5 shall be allowed free.
